Most Recent Update MAY 25 2021:
Finally… A Return to Normalcy!
As a business we have spent the past fourteen months doing our best to be consistent and transparent with our pandemic policies. From the start we have followed the best available science, mandates from our local government, and CDC recommendations while respecting the dignity and concerns of all of our employees and customers.
As of Saturday May 29th we are intending to follow the state and CDC recommendations to roll back many of the restrictions we have had in place. The following policies will go into effect Saturday, May 29th:
MASKS:
  • All fully vaccinated employees and customers will no longer be required to wear masks on premises. If you are fully vaccinated and would prefer to continue wearing your mask you are of course allowed to do so.
  • All employees and customers who are not yet fully vaccinated must continue to wear a mask at all times while on the property, inside and out (ie: continue the current policy). This includes waiting in line at the ice cream window and shopping in and around the greenhouse.
  • Children 5 years of age and younger do not have to wear a mask.
A note about masks: This is clearly a hot topic with many individuals. We urge you to respect the choices of our employees and your fellow customers, and please do not assume that their comfort level matches your own. Let’s be kind to each other and work together as we take these significant steps toward normalcy.
CAPACITY: We will continue to have a greeter at the Farmstand entrance through Monday May 31st (Memorial Day) although our capacity will be higher. Beginning Tuesday 6/1 we will no longer limit the capacity inside the farmstand and we will once again reopen the deli doors.
CLEANING: We will continue to sanitize shopping carts and high touch surfaces, and the plexiglass at the registers will remain intact for the time being. Hand sanitizer will be offered at entrances/exits.
As always, if you are feeling any symptoms of Covid, regardless of your vaccination status, please stay home.
We have thought long and hard about these changes, and we have spoken to nearly everyone on our staff to get their input.
While we are excited for this return to normalcy, we understand the nervous energy surrounding these changes state-wide. Let’s be kind to each other as this transition will be emotional for many. Please reach out if you have questions about our policies and we will do our best to help you.
Thank you for your unending support.
I can’t WAIT to see all your smiling faces this weekend!
Gratefully,
Teri Boardman
A Gradual Return to Normalcy: April 29, 2021
Now that we are eligible for the vaccine, we are ready for a gradual return to normalcy. We are aware that our customers have not all had the opportunity to be vaccinated so we are still focused on making the shopping experience safe for everyone.
As of Saturday May 1st:
  • Increased Customer Capacity: After talking with staff, we have determined that it’s time to raise our capacity in the farmstand.  NOTE: Even with this increase we are still operating at less than half of our allowed capacity during Covid-19.
  • Masks Are Still Required Inside and Outside: The governor just relaxed the outdoor mask regulations in Massachusetts. However, we are still requiring customers to wear masks while on the premises. This includes waiting in line outside and while shopping outside of the greenhouse.

Ice Cream is now available at the Ice Cream Window 8 am – 7 pm daily, and indoors during regular store hours. Please take Ice Cream to go as we still do not have indoor seating available.

Regular Hours:
Farmstand:
8 am-7 pm Monday through Friday
8 am-6 pm Saturday & Sunday
TEMPORARY DELI MENU  :
Please come up to the ice cream window for service or call ahead to order.

Safety Measures:

  • A face covering/mask over your mouth and nose is required at all times on the premises, and will continue to be for unvaccinated persons after May 29.
  • Please stay at least six (6) feet away from others at all times
  • Stay home if you feel sick
  • Credit Card strongly encouraged, Credit Card Only at Greenhouse registers
  • Be flexible and kind. These rules are not forever, they are just for now!
