Our 8^th annual PumpkinFest may look a bit different this year, but our mission to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital continues.

Since we aren’t able to hold an in-person charitable event this year, we’ve gone online. Every penny of your donation will go straight to the Child Life Services team at Boston Children’s Hospital. And, Volante Farms will match up to $4,000 of donations made through Halloween!

What does my donation to Child Life Services do?

Child life specialists work alongside healthcare professionals in nearly every area of the hospital to assist and support patients and families in their adjustment to the hospital experience.

This team also runs a toy drive each year which helps many families at Boston Children’s. This year, they are unable to accept any physical toy donations due to the pandemic. With your monetary donations, child life specialists will be able to purchase developmentally appropriate toys and items for patients and families during the holiday season and throughout the year. You’ll help alleviate this burden while caregivers can focus on what matters most: helping their child heal.

The hospital’s patient care programs are remarkably sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need.

Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children’s lives.
Boston Children’s welcomes kids whose families can’t afford health care—more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
Community programs make a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn’t just stop there. Boston Children’s truly understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.

What do I get with my donation?

As a thank you for your donation, our friends Big Joe and Music Thomas will be hosting Facebook Live shows with links available to the recordings below! The shows are open to the public, with a suggested donation to Boston Children’s. Please share with friends near and far so that we can raise more funds!
